Astroshamanic Retreat with Franco Santoro
at Corvaro (Rieti, Italy)

A special astroshamanic retreat aimed at powerfully expanding our multidimensional awareness at the dawn of imminent and potential planetary transformational processes. This workshop provides a direct and experiential understanding of the many-sided of our nature meant as an emanation of the universe, known and unknown. We will employ various practices from ancient traditions, learning how to navigate through different energy fields, identifying apparent anomalies, fractures, blocks, power points and healing gifts. We will be trained to use the astroshamanic system of the 12 Sectors, the binary and trinity codes, the basic cartography of stellar circuits and other strategic applications for the retrieval of our original 12-strand DNA.

The workshop also covers the theme of parallel universes, time-space gateways and the multidimensionality of the physical territory, including the exploration of occult and non-ordinary geography. We will investigate our most ancient roots, connecting various parts of our ancestral life, releasing old blocks and wounds trapped in the inner and outer landscape, unfolding luminous potentials and promoting healing in the environment at all levels.

The programme includes: soul retrieval, time-space voyages, distant astroshamanic healing, trance dance, astroshamanic touch, visionary walks, activation of multidimensional portals, advanced applications of the Basic Ritual of the Sacred Cone and other practices which will develop according to the motivations and visions of the participants.

The retreat takes place at Associazione Terra di Luce in the medieval village of Corvaro (near Rome), between the lake of Duchessa and its wild mystery mountains. It starts on the last New Moon of spring and culminates with the summer solstice. The dates and place of the retreat have purposefully been chosen to support this type of work. The event is open to all participants and is held by Franco both in English and Italian. This is the first prologue workshop of the Astroshamanic Gateways Series.

The event takes place in a rural complex situated in the ancient ceremonial Etruscan mountains of the Western Bolognese Apennine, a few miles from Tolé and Marzabotto in the Italian region of Emilia and province of Bologna. This residential week provides a major opportunity to explore astonishing dimensions of consciousness and experience a potent rapport with the Earth, the multidimensional functioning of the body and the energy of the South. Drawing upon the force of this season, the natural environment, the Guide, the Totem Spirits, and one another, Franco will share key aspects of astroshamanic research through simple, pragmatic and experiential teachings. Embracing the healing qualities of the starry sky, we will sit in council and ceremonial space, exploring sacred drumming, chanting, silence, astroshamanic banquets, sensual rites of passage, community, playfulness and other aspects of the South. This year the retreat focuses specifically on Astroshamanic Touch.Astrology and shamanism both demonstrate that we are all part of a vast multi-dimensional universe, that our physical body is the energetic smaller scale reproduction of a vaster body, which is an inherent part of the divine network of life. Astroshamanic Touch is an energetic bodywork application of astroshamanism meant as an explicit tool of bridging the physical with the spiritual realms. In Astoshamanic Touch physical contact aims at grounding the solar system, the stellar firmament and the multi-dimensional universe in the cells, organs and tissues of the physical body. By operating with other human beings, representing archetypal vehicle, you melt and become a gateway, channelling healing energy and directing it towards an honourable Intent. Astroshamanic Touch provides the energetic combination for awareness to get away from conditionings and grievances, reawakening the original purpose and claiming our multi-dimensional status. During the week assorted group activities will integrate time spent in solitary shamanic practices, allowing your unique potential to emerge, be acknowledged and shine. Please come prepared to actively share the tools and experience you have acquired in your astroshamanic work. The practices of this event involve forms of physical contact, with specific boundaries set both as a group and individually. Catering, house organisation and assistance will be dealt by Nunzio Santoro, Grazia Romano and Giorgio Triani, top members of Franco’s Italian family and dedicated chefs initiated in the traditional Italian sacred cuisine. Food ingredients and preparations, largely from nearby farms and organic, will be frequently drawn from ancient exquisite recipes aimed at promoting delight and cleansing, inducing specific shamanic states of consciousness, and supporting the energy needed to gain the maximum from the retreat. The retreat will be lead by Franco in English and Italian, alternating both languages in his own distinctive style. The event is open to seekers attending the Operative Training in Astroshamanism and to previous participants to astroshamanic workshops. The fee for the workshop - including tuition, accommodation (in five or six-bedded large dormitory rooms) and full board for six nights, use of venue and equipment, basic refreshments - from 23 July (dinner) to 30 July (breakfast) - is £ 373, or Euro 550 (£ 340, or Euro 500, if fully prepaid by 13 May 2006). Prices have been deliberately kept low, yet some bursaries are available depending on availability in the bursary fund. We welcome contributions to the bursary fund in order to support those who are unable to pay the full amount. Given the limited number of places and the requirement to confirm accommodation in advance, we invite you to book by 19 May 2006. Please enclose a non-refundable deposit of £ 100 (Euro 150) upon booking, or full payment. Cancellations received less than 40 days prior to the start of the workshop will be subject to the additional cancellation fee of £ 100 (Euro 150). Questo ritiro astrosciamanico ha luogo in un ampio spazio rurale situato all’interno di un’antica zona cerimoniale etrusca dell’Appennino Bolognese Occidentale, a pochi chilometri dal villaggio di Tolé in provincia di Bologna. La settimana offre rilevanti opportunità per esplorare alcuni aspetti straordinari della coscienza umana e per stabilire un profondo rapporto con il potere dell’elemento Terra, il funzionamento multidimensionale del corpo e l’energia della Direzione Sud. Impiegando la forza generata dalla relazione con il ciclo stagionale estivo del Leone, Franco condividerà il nucleo essenziale di tre decenni di ricerca astrosciamanica impiegando insegnamenti semplici, pragmatici ed esperienziali. Aprendoci all’energia guaritrice del cielo stellato e degli alberi, siederemo nello spazio cerimoniale del cerchio ed esploreremo pratiche di tambureggiamento, canto, silenzio, convito sciamanico, riti di passaggio, comunità, gioco e altri aspetti del Sud.Quest’anno il ritiro approfondisce in particolare la tecnica del Tocco Astrosciamanico. L’astrologia e lo sciamanesimo dimostrano entrambi che siamo tutti parte di un vasto universo multi-dimensionale, e che il nostro corpo fisico è la riproduzione in scala ridotta di un corpo più ampio allineato con la rete della vita. Il Tocco Astrosciamanico è un’applicazione astrociamanica di lavoro energetico sul corpo inteso come strumento esplicito di connessione tra realtà fisiche e spirituali. Nel Tocco Astrosciamanico il contatto fisico è inteso a incorporare il sistema solare, il firmamento stellare e l’universo multi-dimensionale nelle cellule, organi e tessuti del corpo fisico. Questo sistema fornisce le chiavi di accesso per risvegliare la nostra natura originaria multidimensionale e per rilasciare rancori e condizionamenti. Durante la settimana attività di gruppo si alternano con momenti in spazi di trance o ricerca solitaria, permettendo all’unicità del proprio potenziale di emergere, risplendere ed essere riconosciuta. L’incontro sarà condotto, in lingua inglese e italiana, da Franco. L’alimentazione è biologica e in buona parte prodotta localmente. L'incontro è aperto a coloro che svolgono la Formazione di Primo o Secondo Livello, o che hanno già preso parte a diversi seminari con Franco, e intendono incontrarsi per acquisire comprensione operativa riguardo a strumenti avanzati di guarigione astrosciamanica. Dato il numero circoscritto di posti e la necessità di confermare in anticipo e definitivamente l’evento, occorre effettuare l'iscrizione all’incontro entro il 19 maggio 2006, accompagnata dal versamento di una caparra non rimborsabile di Euro 150.
